After a successful first season playing at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, home of Super League Rugby Club Warrington Wolves, a decision was made to keep Liverpool FC's home fixtures in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North close to the city of Liverpool. It is an ideal venue for Gary Ablett's side to play their games as Liverpool FC set a new Premiership Reserve League record for attendances for season 2007/8 The Halliwell Jones Stadium was opened in October 2003 and boasts a capacity of 14,000 with the North and East Stands being fully seated, whilst the South and West Stands offer covered terracing.
